Non-binding Guidelines Regarding Directive 92/58/EEC – Safety and health signs at work
The Advisory Committee for Safety and Health at Work (ACSH) published the Non-binding Guidelines Regarding Directive 92/58/EEC – Safety and health signs at work.
These guidelines aim to clarify the relationship between Directive 92/58/EEC and the current International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards.
The guidelines explain different legal aspects of Directive 92/58/EEC and define the minimum requirements concerning signboards that should be used to provide information about safety and health at work.
They also describe employers’ obligations on safety and health signaling and display a table of ISO safety signs compared to Directive 92/58/EEC ones.
